Yellamma & Other Stories unravels the story of Princess Renuka and her journey to becoming Goddess Yellamma. The story is told through an English narrative and timeless Kannada folk songs from different regions within Karnataka. Yellamma’s story traces the collective histories of a community, and their trials and tribulations that echo from our past, celebrating sisterhood, motherhood, liberation, duty, and a quest for defining one’s identity.
Join us in an evening of folk music and stories that will make you laugh, cry, and feel uplifted in every way!
